The market square of Asse, bordered by majestic town houses, is well worth a visit. The square already dates back to the early Middle Ages. The “Notary Stas House” at number 53 in Spanish style is among the most beautiful ones.

The Hopduvel Monument is a tribute to the hops culture in this area, which has unfortunately almost entirely disappeared. During the summer time, you can enjoy the views of the picturesque little square from the terrace of one of the numerous pubs.
