Have you already tasted the famous Geuze beer, produced following traditional methods by the Mort Subite Brewery, and the fruit beers Kriek (with cherry flavour), Pêche (peach flavour), Framboise (raspberry juice) and Cassis (blackberry juice)? Some local pubs still serve Kriek-Lambik, the famous "flat beer", served young, half young or old.

Why not try something sweet to go with it: the "Asse Biscuit", an aromatic round and flat biscuit of 10 cm diameter and the “Zellik puff pastry biscuit” filled with fresh vanilla pudding.

Moreover, in the springtime, we can always recommend one or the other local restaurant serving meals prepared with hop shoots. Certainly worth a try!
